Mark Scarfone

Associate - Planning

Mark is an experienced urban planner who has held a variety of roles in the private sector and local government over the past 15 years. He has considerable statutory planning experience across a range of planning project types including development applications for residential, commercial, health care, aged care, industrial and mixed-use projects, scheme amendments, subdivision, project implementation and policy development. Mark uses his demonstrable technical knowledge and clear, professional communication style to negotiate high quality design outcomes while meeting the relevant planning framework.

Mark enjoys working collaboratively with all stakeholders and enjoys the challenge of managing complex planning projects.

Portfolio
  • Provision of pre-lodgement advice, assessment and reporting on a wide range of development applications including the expansion of Westfield Booragoon, Finbar’s Sabina and Aurora development in Applecross and  Hesperia’s Murdoch Square development.*
  • Presentation to a wide range of public meetings including Council, and Joint Development Assessment Panels (JDAP).*
  • Provide detailed input and advice regarding key urban regeneration projects such as the Canning Bridge Activity Centre Plan, Murdoch Health and Knowledge Precinct Design Guidelines, Carawatha Design Guidelines.*
