Monique Thompson

Consultant - Planning

Monique has a unique breadth of experience, with over fours years combined experience working in State government and private practice. With a background in land development, Monique offers valuable insight into State and local government objectives, structure planning, subdivision, development and due diligence investigations.

More recently, Monique has begun to refine her research and analytical skills by providing critical assistance in monitoring development trends and legislative change across a range of development sectors.

Over the course of her career, Monique’s repertoire of works includes the preparation of subdivision and development applications, local development plans, structure plan amendments, due diligence reports, submissions and government liaison.


Major Development Applications and Approvals

  • Obtained various Development Approvals in support of the supply of critical State infrastructure on behalf of Public Authority’s
  • Obtained Development Approval in support of the delivery of a Consulting Room amidst changes to a local planning framework in Perth’s north-east

Statutory and Land Use Planning

  • Prepare concise and intuitive Due Diligence Reports to inform property acquisitions for a range of stakeholders, including State government agencies and private developers
  • Prepare subdivision applications across a range of local planning frameworks, predominately across Perth’s north-eastern and north-western corridors
  • Represent the interests of landowners in respect to emerging development trends and statutory changes across a range of development sectors, in the form of submissions which are qualified and supported by sound planning grounds and justification
