With a career spanning 16 years as a planner, Claire has returned to private consulting from a senior local government role. Claire has a diverse background both statutory and strategic planning in Western Australia and Victoria, working with a range of clients and projects.
Claire is experienced in the preparation and management of structure plans, master plans, detailed land use studies, subdivision and development applications, scheme amendments (regional and local), policy and strategy review and the preparation of planning submissions and due diligence advice.
Claire has also acted as an advocate and expert planning witness at the State Administrative Tribunal (SAT) and Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) and has regularly represented clients at Council meetings, the Metro Inner North Development Assessment Panel and State Design Review Panel. Claire is particularly skilled in managing complex planning projects, with a high level capability for identifying strategic approvals pathways and undertaking detailed analysis and creative problem solving.
