Carmel is a cultural heritage professional and highly experienced graduate historian and writer. Her strong contextual knowledge supports a wide range of heritage work providing inspiration, understanding and shared value. She advocates for a deeper understanding of shared history.

Carmel is a member of the Professional Historians Association of Australia, qualified to undertake historical research for conservation management, interpretation, local government heritage surveys, heritage assessments and impact statements. Carmel is also a qualified librarian with expert skills in archival and digital research.
