Aaron Lohman

Principal - Planning

Aaron is a highly experienced planner with a background in facilitating large and technically complex built form and land projects.

With a strong client and outcome focus, Aaron’s reputation for providing comprehensive strategic advice and his ability to navigate through environmental and planning frameworks make him an integral contributor to the leadership of element’s planning team.

Aaron’s early career in council planning departments gave him a broad understanding of the planning issues facing local government. His previous role as Manager Planning at a leading planning consultancy allowed him to negotiate outcomes for clients while managing complex projects and a busy team.

Inspired by the liveability, vibrancy and opportunity of cities like Melbourne, Aaron is inspired by the opportunity and challenge of adapting Perth’s planning framework to address the need for a compact and integrated City whilst protecting its unique character.
