The Towers at Elizabeth Quay

PLACE

Lots 9 and 10 were the first private development sites to be offered to market as part of Perth’s waterfront revitalisation Elizabeth Quay. Far East Consortium were the successful proponents, proposing to bring the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and luxury water front living to Perth, known as The Towers. The development scheme will deliver a 204 room 5 star hotel and 379 residential apartments, supported by ground floor mixed use amenities and attractions.

ROLE

element were appointed to provide statutory planning advice and secure development approval, navigating the new Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority planning framework to demonstrate innovation, design excellence and strong alignment between the vision for lots 9 and 10 and that of the wider project area – including how it would deliver community benefit into the future.

OUTCOMES

Our approach included comprehensive due diligence and development of planning strategy to facilitate preparation and lodgement of a complex development application. We involved key stakeholders including local and state government and secured timely development approval.
