Sinagra by Stockland Place Visioning

STOCKLAND | Sinagra, WA

THE
PLACE

Just 7kms from the Joondalup Regional Centre and 23kms from Perth’s CBD, Sinagra is a well-connected suburb, abundant in natural amenity with views to Lake Joondalup. In late 2017, the acquisition of the 40-hectare Ingham chicken site created an opportunity for Stockland to produce another high-quality development to enhance the area’s existing urban fabric and will eventually become home to around 700 families.

OUR
ROLE

We were appointed to lead the visioning of this unique infill project on behalf of Stockland. element’s place blueprint for Sinagra aims to ‘bridge the gap’ between higher-level structure planning and detailed master planning, ensuring alignment of Stockland, City of Wanneroo and the project team around development intent and vision, guiding principles, built form direction, public realm design and other place touchpoints.

OUTCOMES

We delivered an overarching project vision for the future development – informed by a project and place workshop facilitated for Stockland and its key stakeholders. Our work included defining a direction for built form, public realm, product mix and place integration. A Place Blueprint was created to guide the project team and stakeholder activities for the future of this well-connected infill community with a village outlook.
