The Project

The Mill Green Redevelopment project will reinforce the Mill Green site as a prominent city centre business precinct, located at the corner of St Georges Terrace and Mill Street. The project will deliver a new 30 storey commercial office tower and extensive public realm upgrades that will unify the three buildings on site, delivering a cohesive precinct that offers a high quality work environment and significant public amenity.

Our Role

element was appointed to provide statutory planning advice and develop an approvals strategy for the project. This included obtaining necessary development approvals through the Development Assessment Panel and securing the award of bonus plot ratio for the public realm upgrades to be delivered throughout the site.

Outcomes

element worked closely with the project team and City of Perth to refine the plot ratio bonus strategy and navigate the design review process, resulting in a high quality development outcome for the site. This strategy of early engagement with key stakeholders resulted in development approval being obtained through the Development Assessment Panel in a timely manner.
