element were appointed to coordinate and deliver public art projects that were aligned with the vision of becoming a multipurpose destination – the first of their kind for Stockland. The purpose of the art projects was twofold – first to form strong local community partnerships and secondly to activate the exterior walls of the Shopping Centre.

We scoped, project managed and delivered public art mural projects, appointing leading artists Kyle Hughes-Odgers and Brad Eastman as part of this creative place making program. They worked together to create two large murals for the community reflecting Baldivis and the theme of ‘connections: uniting people, place and environment.’ A key focus was engagement with young people and the artists worked with the local high school to discuss the art creation process and involve students in concept development.
