James Parker

Associate - Planning & Spatial Analyst

James is a highly experienced Urban Planner and Spatial Analyst with over twelve years experience working across a diverse range of projects and technical disciplines. He has successfully delivered multiple land development and infrastructure projects across Australia, focusing on client satisfaction, outcome based strategy and innovation. He is passionate about the synergies between urban planning and approvals consulting, and the increasing demand for innovative geospatial and digital solutions.

In his role as Spatial Analytics Lead James is working with the broader team on opportunities for element to explore exciting new ways of adding value to their clients’ projects. Through this work, James is leveraging detailed Retail Gravity Models, Human Movement Data, generative AI and bespoke data and geospatial visualisations to better understand his clients’ challenges and find unique solutions. A digital leader with a deep appreciation for the nuances and complexities of planning and environmental approvals consulting, James works closely with his team and clients to understand where workflow efficiencies can be gained, optimised and achieve outcomes, bringing projects to life.
