With over 17 years experience, Claire has a diverse background in statutory and strategic planning across Western Australia and Victoria. Claire has held senior roles in local government and private consulting working for a broad range of clients and challenging projects. Claire is experienced in the preparation and management of structure plans, master plans, detailed land use studies, subdivision and development applications, scheme amendments (regional and local), policy and strategy review as well as in the preparation of planning submissions and due diligence advice. Claire has also acted as an advocate and expert planning witness at the State Administrative Tribunal (SAT) and Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) and has regularly represented clients at Council meetings, Development Assessment Panel and State Design Review Panel. Claire enjoys working collaboratively in a team environment and is particularly skilled in managing complex planning projects, with a high capability for developing strategic approvals pathways, risk mitigation strategies, strategic stakeholder engagement, detailed technical analysis and creative problem solutions.
