Alison works at the threshold of turning project visions into reality, deftly navigating statutory planning and approvals at local and state level. Skilled at due diligence, master plans, scheme amendments, structure and activity centre plans, subdivisions and development applications – what really drives her is uncovering the sense of purpose in every project and a mission to support people in the community.
For Alison, communities such as Bayswater – where locals are highly engaged and organised – shows just how important it is to connect people with the planning process and this was at the heart of developing the Town Centre structure plan. Her work in the health sector – including aged care, retirement living, disability services, respite and wellness - has fed her love of working with people.
Alison is particularly interested in the challenges ahead for Australia’s health care sector, our aging population and how the industry will respond to the growing desire to “age in place.”
